How does online coaching work?

1. Initial Assessment

Your success depends on having a plan individualized to you. The initial assessment guarantees everything that makes you unique is taken into consideration.

Strategy Session – Here we will determine what exactly you want to do and why. You will then get a plan that is specific to these needs. We also discuss your health, dietary, training, and injury history, as well as your level of physical capabilities.

Nutrition Assessment – We will see what struggles you currently have with nutrition, as well as any preferences when it comes to your nutrition. No details will be left behind. From there you will get a nutrition plan that is individual to your lifestyle and preferences.

2. Individualized Nutrition Plan

Nutrition is key to achieving more muscle, losing body fat, and building a strong body. But it doesn’t have to suck or be complicated. Your nutrition plan is built around finding what’s most sustainable for you.

Diet Structure Fit To You – We work together to determine the diet structure that best fits your lifestyle. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here – this is about finding the nutrition strategy that works best for you.

Sustainability – Changing your body is challenging, but your diet shouldn’t make the rest of your life miserable. You’ll learn how to lose body fat, build muscle, get stronger, while properly fueling your body and how to sustain that long term.

Guidance – You’ll get constant education, strategies for life-events, and constant guidance to make this all easier.

3. Customized Training Program

Your program is built specifically for you. You’ll achieve your strength, fat loss, and muscle building goals to improve your appearance without living in the gym.

Your Optimal Dose – Movements, training frequency, and volume all matched to your goals and lifestyle. These all-important factors to results are optimized for your specific goals.

Specialized Training Phases – Nothing is random. Your training is mapped out in phases, designed to progressively move you towards your goal body. Phases change monthly to keep your training fun and engaging.

Knowledge – You’ll learn the how and why of everything in your program. You’ll never have to feel lost or confused in the gym again.

4. Access And Accountability

You’ll constantly have me in your corner as a guide, with all the tools you need to be successful. I’m also here to call you out when needed. You’ll learn everything you need to know to sustain your results for the rest of your life, without me.

Weekly Updates – For any program or nutrition tweaks, and ensure weekly goals are met.

Bi weekly phone calls – To ensure nothing is overlooked and to build a relationship with the client.

Daily Accountability – Accountability breeds consistency. You get lots of it.

Adjustments – Traveling, sick, hurt, etc.? No worries, you’ll get the needed adjustments to keep progress rolling.

24/7 Access To Me And My Network – You not only have constant access to me any time you have questions, or need motivation and guidance – you’re now connected to an entire network of world-class coaches through me. Between all of us, there’s no problem we can’t help you solve.

5. Travel Plans and Accommodations

Because I travel myself and work with many people who travel for work or for pleasure, I know how difficult it can be to stick to the plan on the road. Dont worry about all that, I got you covered.

We will contact the hotel or place of stay and create an adjustable training program to fit whatever is available for you to work with. We then search surrounding areas to help you come up with an appropriate nutritional strategy to enjoy the area while keeping your diet on track.

Bottom Line: JH Health & Fitness online coaching is fully remote and results-driven.

Q: What kind of exercise equipment will I need to start?

A: Full gym access is optimal. However we can make at home set-ups, or bodyweight routines work. We will make anything work.

Q: How long will the workouts take?

A: You will have your choice of training 3 days, 4 days, or 5 days per week. The workouts take about 45-75 minutes to complete

Q: Will I have to do any cardio?

A: Not unless you want to! Our system is specifically designed to allow you to lose weight with minimal hunger, and without the need to do any cardio work whatsoever.

Q: I don’t know how to count macros – is that a problem?

A: Not at all. Macro counting is a skill, like anything else. Your coaching will be based your strengths, weaknesses and lifestyle. Most clients start with learning simple eating habits.

Q: Are there any foods I have to eat? Or foods I cannot eat?

A: Nope. There are literally zero foods on our “do not eat” list. Diets should be enjoyable and there should be no “do not eat foods.” We will show you how to eat the foods you love and still make progress.

Q: Can I still drink alcohol?

A: Yes. BUT Alcohol is something that will slow down any progress you will be making. Alcohol is not advised, however, everything in moderation (think 1-2 times per week). Overconsumption will be shooting yourself in the foot and making it tougher to reach your goals.

Q: I have a lot of weight to lose. Will this still work for me?

A: Totally. You put in the work, you will get the results – period.

Q: How long does it take to see results?

A: It depends how much you are willing to put in. If you put in 100%, you will no doubt start to see results right away.

Online Coaching is for you if:

√ You have at least 6 months of resistance training history.
√ Have at least 3 hours a week to workout.
√ Want to learn how to improve workouts and make it a lifestyle change, not just a 3 month change.
√ Must be self motivated to get to the gym, as you will not have someone to meet.
√ Proficient with a computer or cellphone.
√ Willing to invest 100% in their health and fitness.

Online Coaching is NOT for you if:

X You need someone to be there while you workout and just talk to.
X You do not have at least 3 hours a week to workout
X You have never done any type of resistance training. (While we have the tools to improve form, it is NOT safe to start with an online trainer)
X You are uncomfortable uploading videos of some of your workout.
